Luxe Maple is committed to protecting your personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This page explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.
When you place an order, contact us, or sign up for offers, we may collect: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, order history, and (if you leave one) a product review. We do not collect or store full payment card details — card payments are handled by our payment providers.
We use your data to: process and deliver your order, send order and delivery updates, respond to enquiries, request a review after delivery (only if you've opted in / not opted out), and — only with your consent — send you marketing about our products.
We process your data under the following legal bases: contract (to fulfil an order you've placed), consent (for marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time), and legitimate interest (for fraud prevention and improving our service).
We share order data with the couriers who deliver your goods and, where relevant, our payment processors and email delivery provider. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We keep order records for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes (typically 6 years, per UK tax record-keeping rules). Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
We use a small number of necessary cookies — mainly a session cookie to remember your basket and checkout — which are essential for the site to function and don't require consent under UK rules.
Where enabled, we also use analytics cookies (to understand how the site is used) and marketing cookies (from partners such as Google, Meta or TikTok, to measure and show relevant ads). These only run if you accept them in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time using the "Manage Cookies" link in the site footer.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, and ask for your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to us directly, or to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
