We don't currently offer an old-item collection service alongside delivery, but getting rid of an old bed or mattress responsibly in the UK is easy:
Most UK local councils offer a bulky waste collection service for a small fee — search "[your council name] bulky waste collection" to book one, timed to collect your old bed once your new one arrives.
You can take an old mattress or bed frame to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre (tip) free of charge — mattresses are usually separated out for specialist recycling of the springs, foam and fabric.
If your old bed or mattress is still in good, clean condition, some charities and reuse networks (such as the British Heart Foundation or your local Freecycle/Freegle group) may be able to collect it for reuse — mattresses generally need to meet fire safety label requirements to be accepted for resale.
